Medicine Crow
Acoustic/Blues/Folk
Singer/Songwriter Michael (Medicine Crow) Iott will give a solo performance of new, unreleased material, and familiar original songs from his Illegible Records CD releases, “A Much Better Reality”, “Nahnah’s Garden” and “Logan Street”.

Mike began playing guitar in the 1960’s on a Gibson LG0 acoustic that was passed down to him from his older sister. Over the intervening years he has played many styles of music; folk, blues, rock and light jazz . In the 1980’s he worked with harmonica virtuoso Bill Price in the Iott & Price Band, with bassist Don Diamond in the Sentinels and, during the 1990’s, with Thom Burke and the Last Hippy Band. Over the years he has shared stages with Tommy Chong, Dr. Hook, Bad Finger, and Bonnie Raitt and with regionally known artists Ghetto Gas John, Miko Fossum, Phil Winterdmute, Stargrazer, Harmonica Buzz, Jeff Baldori, Frog & The Beeftones, May Erlewine & Seth Bernard, Jen Sygit, Chara Love, Eric Blades, Perry McDonald and Dennis Preston.

His original songs feature rhythmically driven folk/rock/Acoustic Blues, 12 bar finger style blues, some intricate instrumentals and gentle folk ballads. His songs tend toward the topical rather than the romantic and cover all of those political, religious and social issues we are told to avoid when in polite company.

Zachary Graft
Fiddle
Hey everybody! Thanks for taking the time to read this: I'm a fiddler, mainly Irish, with a little bluegrass. I've been playing violin for nearly 10 years now...it's been a long and joyous ride, that's for sure. I'm currently studying music at Grand Valley State University, which an emphasis in violin performance. I've played at Lemonjello's Coffee is Holland, Michigan a couple of times, and I've played at various places around west Michigan as well. I just recently played with the Irish band Sandhill Sessions at the Curragh in Holland. That was fun! Anyway, I am always looking for places to play, so if you're a venue, and you really want to book a fiddler, just let me know! Take care, Zachary Graft
